Platform Methodology

How SEOLikeCrazy.com is built, scored, and updated.

There are two kinds of thing on this site, and they are built differently. The tools either measure your page directly or ask a language model to write something for you. The guides are written and reviewed by hand.

The Site Audit

The audit requests your URL from our server the way a crawler would, then reports what came back: the title and meta tags, the heading order, how many images carry alt text, internal and external link counts, any JSON-LD on the page, your robots.txt and sitemap, the response headers, and how long the server took to answer. Every figure it shows was measured on that request. Nothing is modelled, sampled or estimated.

The AI tools

The content brief, ad copy, meta title, headline and AI content tools send what you type to Google’s Gemini models and return what comes back. They are writing aids. They do not look anything up, and they should not be treated as a source of fact — check any figure a model suggests before you publish it.

What we do not have

We hold no keyword volume data, no backlink index and no rank-tracking data, and we do not license any of it from a third-party provider. Tools that appeared to offer those things have been removed rather than left running on numbers we could not stand behind. For search volume and rankings, use Google Search Console, which reports your own real data for free. For Core Web Vitals, use Google PageSpeed Insights.

Scoring

The audit score is 100 minus a weighted deduction for each issue found, and every issue states the value we measured. It describes the checks this tool runs and nothing more — it is not a Google score and it does not predict rankings.
